An interview with Shared Services Guru, Dermot Toberty

In this first of two recordings with shared services guru – Dermot Toberty, he shares his experience in transforming the Finance and HR functions across the Royal Mail Group. Dermot is joined by our Managing Director – Ian Jones. Dermot talks about the work undertaken to standardise, simplify, centralise and automate core processes, enabling significant cost reduction and value creation.

Dermot highlights the importance of putting people first, the need for courage, developing a mutual trust, navigating around a common purpose and securing strong sponsorship in enabling major change on this scale.
