Managing Director – Biography

After a successful career operating at c-suite level within the FTSE100, Ian decided to set up his own company – Devereaux Kelly Associates, established in January 2020. He has created a team of like-minded project professionals, passionate about helping organisations deliver successful major change and business transformation. This step into the business advisory and support world, draws on Ian’s significant experience in the areas of strategic planning, transformational change and corporate governance.

Ian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the Chartered Global Management Accountants, and the Association for Project Management. He was educated at Coventry University, Manchester Business School and Oxford Saïd Business School.

In recent times, Ian led an award-winning transformation programme – one of the largest and most complex investments of its kind in UK industry, impacting on over 140,000 people and enabling Royal Mail’s IPO in October 2013. Ian also operated as Chief of Staff between 2014 and 2018 – acting as confidante, critical-friend and trusted advisor to Royal Mail’s UK CEO.

Ian also acts in an advisory capacity to Career Ready, CASS Business School and The Romero Academy in Coventry. Until recently, Ian was the non-executive chairman of National Design Consultancy 2000 Ltd – a UK based company providing building engineering services to the public and private sector organisations.
